Bowser is soft on crime

If you go down to the Wilson Building guess what? You have to go through a mag. Go to your local school you have to get checked. Go into a sporting event or concert and you're checked for weapons.

What's that?

Stop and frisk.

Where do all the shootings happen? Local neighborhoods. Why? Because local criminals know that they can't be stopped.

I guess we're idiots.

She's soft on crime and also spent $12K of our money campaigning for Bloomberg. Can someone -- anyone -- run against this corrupt cretin next time?

Wow.

There was a column in the paper suggesting that Bowser could be considered for Vice President on the Democratic ticket, presumably because she has the right demographic traits to satisfy the self-appointed party constituency police. Now, that might be the one thing that could cause me to vote GOP, God forbid!

“Fourth District Commander Randy Griffin was uncharacteristically blunt about his frustrations related to the pre-trial release of those charged with murder, and other alleged violent offenders. According to the group DC Safe, in 2018 over 30% of homicides were committed by perpetrators who were out under pre-trial release for a different charge.

“There are 17 people in DC currently who have been charged with homicide, and guess where they are?” Griffin asked. “They are back on the streets. It’s completely frustrating for us as police.”

Do you understand the judicial process? You can arrest every young black male in DC (which I’m sure would suit you just fine) but that doesn’t mean they’re going to jail never to be seen again. Convictions are what keep criminals off the street and you need evidence and witnesses to convict which the Mayor can’t magically pull out her ass.

DC has the biggest police force in the country, on a per capita basis.

DC also has the highest taxes in the country, on a per capita basis.

It doesnt seem unreasonable to demand from our elected officials half-way decent government services in exchange for all that.

DC does not have the highest taxes in the country on a per capita basis, does it? What is your source for that?

DP: Yes, it does.

Which is why the waste and the lack of accountabiliry are so obscene.

Actually, she's dumber than a door nail.

But she is happy to take money. Just ask her crony developer friends who basically bought the mayor's office and the Office of Planning.
