But not condescension, sadly.

I heart you.

I'm asking this genuinely - what do you love? I am so put off by her in the videos. I watched RHOC (still do) and she was never a favorite of mine but I wasn't aware how unbelievably much self-awareness she was lacking. I mean, I had an inkling, but this is just stunning. And I'm not remotely jealous of her (I built my dream house last year, life is great, blah blah bah), I just can't fathom giving people a gift in a bag with MY name on it. It's so odd. And the carpet in the master bedroom? It's awful. But even if our tastes aren't the same, the level of narcissism she exhibits is remarkable. It made me really dislike her.

I like taking a peek into anyone’s world. She’s well spoken and the videos are short and come out fairly infrequently. I guess some people watch pawn shop shows or hoarding shows - I like this particular youtube “show.”

I hear you on the first part, I also like that if I like the person. I guess she is well-spoken in that she speaks clearly and coherently, but the words that are actually coming out of her mouth are so tone deaf, at least to me. I feel that way about most of the real housewives though. I like Bethenny, but when she cried about being "homeless" in New York that was really cringe-worthy.

I love that house and the decor. I never watched the shows or know this person but the comments on the house made me click it. She does talk too much but I like her taste.

I don’t find her tone deaf. I think she’s often self deprecating. She will call herself fancy pants. She will complain about something and then Fake cry and say “wah wah...I know, poor me...”. She realizes she’s over the top. I don’t listen to her pod casts, buy her books, use her products or anything like that. I do like the YouTube videos she has other than ones of podcasts or her interviewing guests. I think it’s interesting to watch someone who has one fridge in a pantry which is messy and one in a kitchen for show.

I actually know her. She went to college at Syracuse and was in a great sorority SDT--ha ha little plug there. Anyhoo..I hate to disappoint everyone but she is nice. She was nice then and nice now. Kind of same personality from years ago. She is loud and has her opinions but she was the kind of person who would listen to your troubles wayyyyy late into the night and want to fix them was eating take out from Cosmos. She was really into theatre then so the theatre has been a long time thing. She was actually a little heavier but not in a bad way, I actually think she looks healthier but that is me. I am happy for her and she has a real marriage and her husband is also nice. I know people hate to hear that. They had some sadness as his brother who was the lead singer of Quiet Riot-died from drugs. It was sad. So thought I would inject some positivity.

I would just die for her laundry room.

As someone who dwells in an apartment & has to do laundry weekly in a laundromat, I cannot even imagine having multiple washers/dryers in my home!
Plus I seriously doubt she does any of her own laundry!!!

Likely the house has a personal laundress who does everything.

And her gift wrapping room is no Candy Spelling, but it is very organized + stocked.
Personalized gift bags galore along w/photo gift tags.....
Color me jealous.

Her 16 yr old daughter Max just came out as bisexual.

To be honest, I am a little confused why kids feel the need to come out at all. I never came out and announced "You know what guys? I really love singing. I know you've never heard me sing, but I've noticed that my whole life any time I sing, it makes me happy. Y'al? I'm a singer!"

Like sure, tell your parents, but why announce anything about sexuality publicly?

Because that is the millennial and younger way. They announce everything in their lives publicly.

Because it makes Heather seem more "normal" and more approachable. This announcement doesn't surprise me, and I assume her youngest DD is also not straight. She's hinted about it for a long time.

Because singing has always been normalized. No one ever wanted to murder or silence or harm or mock or ridicule someone for being a singer. The more people who stand up and say "I'm bisexual" or gay or trans or what have you, the more we see that it IS common, it IS people we already know and love in our community, it IS the girl next door who has babysat your kids and always been trustworthy and lovely.

My aunt in a well-meaning way told my brother after he came out, "I've just never known a gay person before, so it takes some getting used to." And he said, "You've known a gay person since the first time you held me as a baby. You've known a gay person at every Thanksgiving and Christmas meal we've shared for 25 years. You've known a gay person when you picked me up from church camp and took me out to ice cream." And she started to cry, because in that moment, she got it.

so glad I have no idea who these people are

What’s up Heather? My favorite room is the kitchen and the couch right off the kitchen. I could just live there and be very happy forget the rest of the house. That couch is amazing. I would love to go to one of her parties and have drinks and shrimp cocktail in the kitchen and then move on to the formal dining room and have a fancy dinner there looking at the sunset. I also love the pool and would sit there all day swimming in the pool and jacuzzi while somebody made fresh pizza in the outdoor pizza oven. I like pineapple on my pizza.

She does not talk about security in any of the videos and probably for a good reason. They probably have intense security for such a huge house.

I would really like to see more travel videos on her channel. I liked the one where they went to the Maldives and then to Vegas on a private plane for a concert. I want to see the plane, hotels, food, and activities on the trips. I am sure these people take nice trips. She would get a lot of viewers for the trips I think.
