I’m surprised at the high temperatures here. Interesting. |
I was going to say just the opposite. I’m surprised by all the sub-70 degrees posters. That’s cold! |
DW has Raynaud's syndrome (google it).
We keep it at 72 during waking hours (6am - 11pm), 70 when we are in bed (11pm - 6am). |
We are always sub-70. I was worried that "cranking" it up to 68 was too high. lol. To be fair, we also run our gas fireplace in the evening. The kids love it. It's cozy and they park themselves in front of it. |
65 in one house might feel fine; in another house it might be way too cold. I tend to err on the side of just a bit chilly in winter and just a bit warm in summer. I have a smaller, older house with ceilings that aren't too high and a decent HVAC system and new windows, so I can keep the heat fairly low and the AC temp fairly high without being bothered much. Fans and space heaters are cheaper than heating or cooling a whole house if you're only in one room. |
68 at night or out. 72 when in the house. |
65 in the am/ getting ready for work and pm/ after I return. 60 during the day. 55 at night. |
The old part of the house, 68 or 70 day, 67 nights. New part of the house (separate thermostat) 66 day 65 night. |
74 when everyone is home. |
