I never got rid of my PF issues until I started wearing minimalist running shoes (originally Merrell Pace Glove, now Altra Solstice) and switched my running stride to a toe strike.


sorry no - minimalist shoes don't have enough cushioning and cause too
much force on the fascia.

I never had PF and after 9 months of wearing minimalist shoes, I developed it.

PP here. Well, it worked for me, and I don't have to wear supportive shoes every minute of my waking day like some folks on this thread. Strengthening the muscles surrounding the fascia put less pressure on the fascia itself.
