OMG I could have written this post. Every time I see the "this" poster it drives me BONKERS. It is like all that poster has to contribute to any discussion is one word, indicating who he/she agrees with. This poster has no thoughts of his/her own.

A big thing with the "This" poster is that she often quotes from people who have already quoted others. The "this" could mean she is in total agreement with the last poster. She could also be using "this" to show the last poster's stupidity in response to the other posts that have been made. It's never really clear if "this" is a snarky response or not. "This" can be read in a very sarcastic way and everyone knows sarcasm doesn't always translate well in writing.

The "this" poster seems to think she needs to say something even though she isn't really saying much of anything. Does she lack critical thinking skills? Does she just want to post a thread back to the top? Does she know it pisses people off, because lets face it, while this is the first thread about "this" it isn't the first time it's been mentioned. Though it is the first time I have brought it up myself.

Please, "this" poster, come up with some ideas and comments of your own. I am sure that you have them. Express them.

I think it is clear whether or not "this" is sarcastic (almost always not). And it is certainly not just one poster.
The first time I saw it it was confusing and slightly irritating. but then I got it, and moved on.

As for the "__ much", there can be no forgiveness.

(I agree it likely isn't just one poster. The general assumption in these parts that anyone engaging in what someone sees as an annoying behavior and/or anyone disagreeing with a substantial subset of the population MUST THEREFORE be one and the same person drives me absolutely batty)
