+1. I feel like I finally found “my people” on this thread! What next?

Did you watch Jack Ryan? It was similar to Night Manager. Did you watch The Fall? Safe with Dexter Morgan I mean Michael Hall, is pretty good.

Yes, I have watched them all.

Thank you! Looking for a new show.

I watch Shetland--there are seasons available on Netflix, I believe. It's a little hard to get into, but I absolutely loved it, once I got into the flow.

Amazon Prime-- Bosch. It's just so good.

PBS- Unforgotten

unforgotten is awesome. I think you can get seasons 1 and 2 on either netflix or prime now. Season 2 was even better than season 1. the third season may still only be on PBS.

Check out:

Collateral (I think Amazon)
In the Line of Duty (Amazon-BBC)
Keeping Faith (Amazon)

Collateral was absurd, sorry. It started off in an intriguing way and then descended into predictable luvvie cliches. I had such hopes.

I've just started watching Dark, a German series on Netflix, and it reminds me a lot of Broadchurch. It's a science fiction plot so it's different in that way but it's about a smallish town in a rural area where children are disappearing and there is lots and lots of guilt and dread floating around. I had some issues with Broadchurch (eg, the constant flow of red herrings and when you find out who the murder is, it doesn't really work 100%) but they were so good at evoking guilt and dread.

If you do watch it, watch closely. I'm a little confused about who is who (those Germans all look alike! ) but I'm completely gripped by the plot!

You can watch season 3 of Unforgotten by subscribing to the free trial of the Masterpiece channel on Amazon Prime (free trial available from time to time).
Silent Witness is also a good show (the more recent seasons).
I also loved Rectify, but I don’t think it’s for everyone.

I also recently started it based on a PP’s suggestion. I don’t know that I get a Broadchurch vibe (although I understand the connections you and PP make) but I am very hooked and think it is a really well done show. The plot is very intricate.
