Kid’s lunches- the reality

Here and there I will cut out shapes in the fruit, veggies and a cheese slice. Sometimes my 3 year old will ask for dog bone shapes which is weird but whatever. If I have the extra minute, I don’t mind. I like the Yum box a lot for my pre-schoolers. It kind of reminds me of the food groups when I’m in a hurry packing! I throw it in the dishwasher.

No cute shapes here but we use little divided containers to keep things separate.
My advice - make sure you can fit a full sandwich. We have a number of containers that stopped being super useful once DD was reliably eating a full sandwich every day (didn’t fit). I like sandwich sized ones that i can divide up by adding silicone muffin liners
