| 1270 would be damn near if not literally the lowest SAT of the entire Harvard college. What a joke. |
Harvard isn't interested in your definition of who deserves to go there. It's weird that people are so critical of their admission policies, yet still want their kid to go to school there. Your fellow students ARE the experience of attending g a university, so if you hate the admission policies, you should probably dislike the school enough not to want to attend. |
How do you know he didn't test prep for and get a higher score? |
|
He has made a great impact to the society in bringing the debate on guns to the young people. What impact has your kid had to the society other than being a bookish test taker? If I were a Harvard admission officer, I would take him many times over your full SAT score kid as I see him having much more potential. That's an easy decision.

This wasn’t enough to prevent a 70-something man from becoming POTUS but it should be enough to keep a teenager from getting a single slot at one elite university?? |
Not pp here -- what makes you think I want my kid to attend Harvard? It has become a parody of itself. As someone who has read Mr. Hogg's tweets and seen his interviews, it is clear that Harvard values ideological purity and zeal over critical thinking and communication skills. |
Let’s try not to think about all of what dummy doesn’t know. There’s no time. |
Odd how you are so bitter over a kid being more accomplished than you. |
|
It's obvious that you people objecting to his admission are so very clueless about what super-elite colleges are seeking.
I mean, totally clueless. He is EXACTLY what they are looking for. |
+1. They want to make world leaders. Not cater to geniuses |
Right: Left-wing, social media savvy SJWs. |
| Good for him. |
| Harvard has become a parody of itself. For shame. |
So what? He’ll go on to do great things. Good for him. |
No. This thread is a parody. Clueless and simultaneously envious parents who are obsessed with grades and rank instead of quality of the students they are raising. Good for Hogg and good for Harvard. |
