Riverside is one of the safest neighborhoods in Baltimore and much safer than Pigtown. I am not saying it is completely without crime or has suburban crime levels, because that would be asinine. |

I would try and look around Columbia instead. That area, while full of families, has a lot of singles and because there is shopping, music venues, the new Whole Foods, restaurants and bars, there will be others like you around.
While Baltimore to Ft. Meade seems like a great option and it really could be, the traffic is bad and you will have to really really research, visit at all times of the day and night to check out the real scene of whatever house that you are interested in , that I don't think it's worth it. |
huh? I never said port Covington was a island. It's an essentially uncoupled area that has seen some rise in business activity. Nobody lives there and there is no crime. To say that "it's not safe" is preposterous. It's very safe just mostly empty. OP I don't know anything about your commute but I live in locust point and it's extremely safe and very close to i95. |
