Racially Insensitive Teacher?

I'm so glad you wrote this. I have a friend who has biracial kids. Now maybe we just live in an odd area but she is was upset about the school teaching about prejudice based on skin color. Her kids are in high school now and she said she found the messages and lessons to be excessive and detrimental.

So where do Chinese, Indian, Jewish and Spanish kids sit in bus.

White people are now back of the bus in college admission. That is a 12 grade assignment

Kids that age can't process that information appropriately, and they also get messages confused. It would not surprise me if they ended up playing segregation games on the playground afterwards because I doubt they have the maturity at that level to understand the intent of the lesson.
