well.. I'm not white, and I'm leaning towards Ficker as well. And I don't live in Bethesda or up county. Past several years of not so great job growth, over crowded schools, high taxes, over development in already crowded school clusters, horrible traffic. Why do so many companies pick NoVa over MoCo? If we have more high paying jobs here in MoCo, it would address: 1. larger tax base, which leads to more school, transportation funding 2. people don't have to commute across to VA which is one of the worse commutes from MoCo. People can live where they work; reduce traffic congestion. 3. more jobs, and yes, higher minimum wages means less people on welfare, and better qol all around Why do we have so many housing development here when most of the jobs are not in MoCo? |
