I am so tired of school communications riddled with poor grammar and misspellings.

You know, pricy privates are not much better. Just received reply from my DC’s HOS and she addressed my husband by the wrong first name (his name was clearly written in the original message we sent this HOS).

There are small ES upcounty.but they get to 4-5 classes by fourth grade.

I love our private. The communications are always well written and no errors. Any snail mail we receive addresses us the proper way...Dr. and Mrs. Nobody does that anymore.

How would you know this? And how do you define tutoring? They are bringing a trained teacher to your home on a regular basis to instruction your child? Or do you mean parents are working with kids on their hw to provide more feedback than a teacher will?

Nobody does that anymore because it's not 1970. But if you feel like that gives you your money's worth in private-school tuition, that's good.
