"Luxury" minivan

Idk why you don't think the Honda Odyssey isn't luxurious. It costs 40k+ and has every feature you can imagine on the top model. We've owned exotic sports cars, Mercedes, etc, but the Odyssey will be our next car. I just want to haul it all and not worry whether it will fit. We have 2 kids and plan on 3 and want my parents (who live down the street) to fit in our car when we go on zoo trips and out to dinner. We currently have a large BMW sedan and it's just not cutting it. I can't wait for my Odyssey. I don't get why people think SUVs are better looking or more luxurious. I'm sick of not being able to open my doors big enough in DC's small parking spaces to get my infant carrier in. If I had a van I could slide my door open no problem.

Besides, I'm pretty in love with the new nanny cam feature on the Odyssey. I have 2 rear facing kids and would love to see them on the nanny cam instead of the mirrors that are always falling off.

I love my Sienna. So much room. With shuttling the kids around, it has been so much easier. They can change into their sports clothes easily. It's super comfortable on road trips. When they were in car seats, it was so easy to take them in and out and now that they are bigger, they can easily open the doors and hop out unlike our other car where they could ding the car next to us. Our car seats 8 so when we have visitors, we can all hop in one car. The one thing I would change would be getting leather seats. I did not do that and the messes are a pain to clean.

I currently have a 7-seater SUV and I feel like it's too small for my teenagers. It's painful to watch them climb out of the back seat. Even though my kids are older, I hope to get a minivan later this year.
