I have mixed feelings about this. I think it will be a mess. But something has to be done, traffic is probably not going to get worse. Having only 2 lanes to Frederick is crazy.
We live just outside the beltway in MD but DH commutes to NoVA on the beltway (used to occasionally take rock creek but not practical with the beach drive construction), and the bottlenecks getting past the 495/270 interchange in the evening are ridiculous. Of course if the American legion bridge wasn’t any widened that will always be a bottleneck. |
