OP here. I am similar to your body type. I'm 5'4 112 pounds with a straight body type. Made well HW skinny jeans 9 inch look amazing on me.

I wear high-waisted jeans because I think they are more comfortable. I can move more freely, I don't need to pull up my pants or worry about my underwear being exposed if I bend and flex.

But I wear hip length tops so no one knows I'm wearing high-waisted jeans anyhow. With high waisted jeans no one ever sees the top of my pants which I think is a much cleaner, more elegant line.

I realized today that no one even knows I'm wearing high-wasted jeans because my top goes down to about mid-butt. And so my butt still looks good, and not the long butt one gets with high-wasted jeans, since it's mostly covered up. If that makes sense.

Nope. Clearly the only option for high waisted jeans is mom jeans from 2 decades ago that can’t even flatter a princess. That’s the only possibility.
