Mickey's Christmas Carol is now part of "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas" which is most definitely being shown right now on Disney Channel.

SAME! I love this version and don't understand why it's not the modern standard for a classic version.

Scrooged is probably no. 2 as alternate version.

Scrooge the Musical because I love Albert Finney. Straight drama would be Alistair Sim (1951) A Christmas Carol. I watch all of them because I love this story of classic redemption. I also read the book every Christmas.

Love George C. Scott, Patrick Stewart and Mr. Magoo. Enjoy Muppets, too. Hate the Guy Pearce one that came out in recent years.

So it’s weird, I’ve love the Muppets and that was one of the first TV shows I was allowed to watch as a kid.

Everyone raved about the Muppets Christmas Carol, so I watched it recently. I didn’t enjoy it. I think it was too many songs and just wasn’t Muppety like I expected.

I feel like I want Muppets that are funny and silly and hilarious, or Scrooge, which is a totally different story. But not both. I will never watch the Muppet one again and the George C. Scott one is my go to.

I was an actress in a version of A Christmas Carol that I had adapted from the story by Dickens, when the Muppet movie came out. The whole cast went to see the movie and it was indeed, better even than our show.

Muppets is the best, then the 1951 version then maybe Patrick Stewart.

If anyone listens to tjr Brisith The Rest is History podcast, they talk about the Muppets version repeatedly. So iconic event to the Brits, apparently.

I cannot understand this. Michael Cain is tremendous as Scrooge and there is no better Ghost of Christmas present than Sweetums. I also appreciate Piggy’s not too saccharine take on Mrs Cratchit, and Statler/Waldorf’s version of the dead partners. I’ve seen various versions of CC probably about 50 times — I’m a huge fan and this is my favorite.

Hands down the Muppets Christmas Carol. All the fun and warmth of the Muppets with the amazing Michael Cain playing it utterly serious and Shakespearean is just the best.

That one is head and shoulders for me above the 1951 and Patrick Stewart versions which are very good but if I have to watch only one it is Muppets.
