Popeyes chicken is amazing but only allowed once a year. Also, the sides are garbage except for red beans and rice. If they had more credible veggies I might allow myself a second trip per annum.

Popeye's spicy chicken with red beans and rice, plus a biscuit. I love how their biscuits are a bit crunchy at the bottom. KFC biscuits taste like wadded up toilet paper. But that mac and cheese at KFC got me through many hangovers.

Living in Damascus, I have two better choices for chicken, Red Rooster or the Etchison store. No reason to go to KFC or Popeyes, they aren't in the same league.
