OP here. I guess this thread has been revived.

I texted him the night before with the info. Didn't hear back until the next morning at about 10am with his response and this tacked onto the end. He is gainfully employed with regular work hours

Interesting. If he texted you that in the sober light of day, sounds like he is thinking of you very much. You are the "one that got away". Sounds like something he probably typed out, deleted, retyped, etc before sending
