G-20 Riots in Hamburg

Oh I think the riots were about Trump. He has been made the scapegoat so that people's attention is diverted by the staggering issues in their own countries. From overwhelming refugee issues in Europe to societal problems in Japan affecting its economy to China's faltering economy. Make Trump the G20 story and deflect from genuine issues the G20 cannot solve

It seems like there are always protests at these meetings. What were the previous ones about since Trump wasn't on the radar yet?

Generally center around poverty, anti-capitalism, banks, terrorism, income distribution, climate change -- the usual suspects. Trump epitomizes all of these, so there you have it.

Because a lot of the posters here are not from DC or are probably parents at all. They're probably dumb f*ck flyover state folks who have never traveled, don't speak other languages, but somehow stumbled on to this forum. They are definitely not smart.

Could you please stop with the idea that everybody who lives on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts is smart and cosmopolitan, and everybody who lives in between is a dumb hick? I know for a fact that neither is true, and you should know this, too.

And yet, the rust belt and the Midwest and the Deep South are bright red swaths of Trump country. And since they decided to inflict Trump on the rest of us, I am not particularly interested in pretending that many of them are anything except stupid racists who have very nasty things to say about the "educated liberal elites" who live on the Coasts. And I know for a fact this is true. Because I got an education and got out of one such place. But still have to go back to the land of MAGA hats to visit family.

And it takes a lot of nerve to bash those of us who did get an education and become a "liberal elite" while simultaneously being pissed off that we don't treat flyover country racists with kid gloves.

You really don't have to do anything but die, pay taxes and eliminate waste.

Stereotypical response of a liberal elite. Basically, labeling everyone who voted for Trump as a depoloreable.
