DW here and I am going to venture to guess that all of the women carrying on about "how gross this is", are the SAME women who think the following are also GROSS an unacceptable: 1) having sex with out a shower immediately before the act is without a doubt a NO-NO 2) Oral, I don't do that either, it is dirty and you probably only did BJ's while trying to get a ring on your finger 3) You act like cum is some toxic substance that may possible burn a hole in your 800 thread count bed sheets, vagina, or mouth (except when you need to get pregnant)...am I right? LOL....I just find this entire question very odd unless you are super uptight. This is not a person you just started dating, it is your husband! I think someone else said it further up the thread, but First world problems....

Bingo! Every couple has their own manner of handling this very human situation. I have friends who would never dream of being in the room with their partner---even when it's just one in the shower and the other brushing their teeth. Others have an open door policy that I find very amusing.

When we stay in small hotel rooms it's expected that if you need to poop you do it in the lobby. Why would you stink up your room?

OP, your DH was very wrong. It's gross to listen to anyone poop and many hotel bathrooms don't even have fans so you'd be getting ready in a smelly bathroom. No thanks.
