Hilarious.

I'm sorry that your team sucks.

I'm going to assume you did not grow up anywhere in or near the south, OP. We take SEC football very, very seriously. People dress up for Ole Miss games. We use our crystal and china when we tailgate in The Grove. Many people even hang a chandelier in their tent. We love our Rebs with a passion. We know their names. We often know their families. The Manning name is spoken with reverence in Oxford.

I can't speak for all teams but I know State fans are every bit as obnoxious, I mean passionate. My DH went to Georgia and he bleeds Red and Black. Our Saturdays revolve around football. It's more than sports. It's a part of our culture. I grew up watching SEC football. I knew all the words to "Hotty Toddy" by two years old. It was the only time I was allowed to swear. We have football food, tailgate, travel, visit family, meet up with old friends, etc. during football season. It is so much more than just a game.

Old Miss is still in the SEC? I thought they got relegated to the WAC.

Nicely done.

Ha! Here is a New York Times article on UNC's 18 years of cheating.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/31/sports/ncaabasketball/north-carolina-final-four-cheating-fake-classes.html?_r=0

It says they stopped the cheating on transcripts in 2013, is that right?

Yep, so the scandal didn't really involve the kids who just won the championship.

So naive. They have just found a NEW way to cheat. For example, they have bragged about how 60% of their athletes are diagnosed as ADHD! 60%!! And thus qualify for all sorts of benefits, like being on Adderal (which is not allowed EXCEPT in the case of diagnosed ADHD!), extra assistance, extra time on tests, etc. Huh.

You think INC is the only school that has ever cheated when it comes to their athletes' academic performance? So naive!

The sports fan mentality explains a lot of this country's political mentality.

I am not saying this in a mean way but how do you NOT get into it watching the Cubs break the curse, LeBron bringing it home to Cleveland or Brady scoring 25 unanswered. How exciting was that. And Masters this weekend!

Who is this poster, Pitino, trying to deflect from his hiring of hookers for underage high school recruits????? The notorious UNC basher poster, go away. There aren't any hookers for your Louisville team in Chapel Hill, try Durham.
