He's a professor of South Korean international relations. He lives in S Korea. It makes sense that his wife is Korean and that his kids are half Korean and speak Korean.

The girl is saying "Mommmmaaaa whhyyyyyy" on their way out the door.

My theory is that this was happening live and the wife was watching it on a TV in the other room, saw her daughter on screen, and ran down the hall to go get the kids out.

I agree with PP who said that if this was a mother whose kids came in while she was on camera, the reaction from many would unfortunately and unfairly be very negative.

I love his "FML" face, mom flying in at 90 mph, big sister's happy dance, baby rolling in after big sister, dad trying to push big sister maybe out of the frame, crouching mom grabbing the doorknob. This is gold!!!
