Something is going to have to give - if it can't be work hours then it's money. That's just the trade off. On the money side, if student loans are the issue, maybe look into income based repayments until the kids are in school? (Even if it costs you more interest in the long run.)

Thanks, we're already on IBR so our payments are as low as they will get (over $3500/month FWIW).

We are sending our older to Karasik, younger in another place until a spot opens up.
