3 kids in a hotel room where you are only are supposed to have 2

they will see the three kids when you check in or walk through the lobby. how to do you think you will hide one of them?

You don't bring the whole family up to check in. We don't do that anyway. I typically go up while dh and the kids explore the hotel. Walking through the lobby? They've long since forgotten who we are.

Kids under age two don't count since they are typically in a pack n play or cosleep. This isn't an issue.

OP here. When I posted this thread, I was still pregnant. Baby is now here. There is no way we can all still sleep in the same room, at least not when she is waking up a few times per night. It may be better when she is a few months old. I think we first travelled when my 2nd was around 6m and he was waking maybe once per night and it was fine to be in the same room as his older brother.

I worried about that, too. But interestingly my older three boys never woke up when the baby cried in the middle of the night.
