I saw this guy a couple of years ago, and I was amazed to see that he looked even better than on TV. What a hottie!

I went to college with Blair in the 80s and was even in the same coed dorm for a while before he left for L.A. He was smoking even then and was such a fun, nice dude. He came back to graduate after starting in L.A. Law and remembered everyone and acted just the same. We've done holiday cards sporadically too.

Hi CMU classmate!

Hi back atcha! I was H&SS but roomed with a lot of Maggie Mo drama and musical theater majors.

Ooohhh...yes! He is ageing incredibly well, too.

As an aside, Miranda Hobbs from SATC not only dating a guy that looked like that but being the one to break up with him probably messed up a lot of girls in my age group's dating expectations for long time (I was in middle school when that storyline aired so right in the verge of entering the world of dating for the first time). Sure, Miranda was a smart, successful attorney but she was also a single mom who was therefore permanently intertwined with her ex/babby daddy (& his mom) & had a negative, biting personality that would pretty quickly become depressing &/or irritating to be around & commitment issues that would make her extremely difficult to be in a relationship with (to say the least). And, while she was far from unattractive, she was also far from what most men would consider gorgeous. Yet she somehow managed to snag a rich, successful doctor who also happens to be a nice guy & who looks like he just finished being photographed for the cover of People's Actual Sexiest Man Alive issue? And he is devastated when she breaks up with him ?? I know it was a scripted tv show but come on! Even Lost was more realistic than that storyline!

This was what really made her unattractive. All the other traits you can work with, some can actually be more attractive. But she was a nasty person and that was the real dealbreaker. It's why she had to end up with someone like Steve (and I actually think she's quite attractive- much more so than SJP, at the very very least)

Steve was way too good for her.

Steve was an ugly loser.

I just re-watched the episode where Miranda tries to leave the baby with Steve overnight, and he freaks out and brings the baby to her and is like 'No, I'm not gonna do it.' Steve was absolutely not too good for her, and she should have left him in the dust instead of marrying him.

Are you my spirit twin?

Me too. But I also confess to a wholly age-inappropriate obsession with Harry Styles.

LMAO PP here. I share your same wholly age-inappropriate obsession with Harry Styles too. But I didn't feel comfortable enough w/ DCUM to add that in my original post. Although I thought about it for quite a long time. Definitely spirit twins!

What is the name of the previous guy? I don't know who these people are but inquiring minds want to know.
Anonymous
No, not Robert Downey Jr. but the previous one.

Eh, they were both terrible in their own ways. I guess they deserved each other.

I feel like SATC vacillated between portraying Steve as kind of loserish and a good guy.

Can't believe no one has said Shemar Moore!!! I've loved him since his Y&R days!!
