I don't think the wrecks make selling the $$$ homes more difficult--there are teardowns and old houses all over Bethesda. I just think there are fewer people who can afford a $2+ million house, and so they generally don't sell them too quickly. Pretty neighborhood. |

I grew up on that very block! there were never graceful colonials on Wehawken, lol. Just split-levels, ramblers, old Cape Cods, all on fairly big lots. Since the 90s, McMansions, and that process accelerated immensely after about 2006. Same is true in general in GEH.
Definitely more older/bigger colonials across Sangamore Rd between Sangamore and Mass Ave, and in Wood Acres. |
