Women who Marry Extraordinary Men

Anonymous
Extraordinary:

a : going beyond what is usual, regular, or customary <extraordinary powers>
b : exceptional to a very marked extent <extraordinary beauty>

In which case, no, whether or not a man is extraordinary has absolutely nothing to do with other people's judgments. If he is extraordinarily loving, thoughtful, and devoted he fits the definition as well as a man who is extraordinarily rich, famous, and handsome.

The question is whether others would find him extraordinary. You can find a piece of waste in a toilet impressive, but if no one agrees, that may be a clue as to its intrinsic worth.

Everyone thought bill Cosby was extraordinary. By a lot of definitions Hitler was extraordinary. I'll take my diamond in the rough and appreciate his quiet extraordinariness every day of the week over being toed to am accomplished and rich jerkwad

So.... he's not extraordinary and no one thinks he is?

Or a woman herself.

And what about men who marry extraordinary women?

You must be new here.

I think OP equates famous (or infamous) with extraordinary.

My DH is absolutely extraordinary - not just my opinion - but he's not famous.
