Any teachers? Is this annoying?

Was she allowed to keep it? We have an whole box full of fossils, because they are fascinating, and because I've always had a thing for rocks. I went to a funeral a couple of years ago, and I stepped outside for a minute and strolled over to a slate bank next to the funeral home to check it out (because you almost always find fossils in slate), and I ended up spending most of my time out there collecting fossils. The teacher should have had more curiosity. It's a good thing. Too many people seem to have lost theirs along the way.
