Sasha Obama had a summer job... anyone else's teen working?

Wow, your daughter worked OVER a 12 hour day every weekday all summer? She sounds extremely hardworking; that trait will serve her well if it does not burn her out. Insane that college is so expensive. That schedule is so hectic I'm surprised she had enough time left to have a nice enjoyable summer!

My DD has had a summer job in moco since age 14. The work permit is easy - it's just a form.
Pool snack bars are popular first jobs. Anything pool or tennis court related.
Then, lifeguards are always in high demand. Old navy/scooping ice cream, day camp counselor, the list is endless.

Why is she working in Martha's Vineyard when she lives in DC? Is Michelle there for the summer?

They have close family friends that vacation there and have summer homes like Valerie Jarrett. She has parental supervision.
