What did CNN just do to Donald Trump?

Except for MoDo who is a Trump shill, the NYTimes hasn't exactly been complimentary to him.

The fact that it doesn't bother half of America that a shameless draft-dodger criticized john mccain for "getting caught" and a gold star family makes me really fear for the future of our country. Its worse than Idiocracy.

Good summary. Frightening summary.

Yea, I don't know why anyone would want to serve under this guy as Commander in Chief.

Well, *most* respectable journalists are pretty intelligent; they've seen a lot. I would venture they are quite cynical. So, I think they can see through Trump. Heck, half of America can see through him.

Stop blaming the media. We generally get the candidates we deserve. The American people in general are ignorant of the issues, easily influenced by celebrities, and don't take the time to learn anything about the word beyond our own small group of like-minded friends.

Who is "MoDo"?

Is MoDo Maureen Dowd? She is not pro-Trump, but has made a career of being anti-Clinton:

"A Media Matters analysis of Dowd’s columns found that 72 percent of her work between November 1993 and June 2014 included negative tropes against the Clintons, including regularly portraying Hillary Clinton as an unlikeable, power-hungry phony. In the year following, all 17 of Dowd’s columns with significant mentions of Clinton were negative. Dowd regularly relies on sexist tropes to describe Clinton, including that she is a “granny” who “can’t figure out how to campaign as a woman” and suggesting she “should have run as a man” during the 2016 election. Hypocritically, Dowd has also accused her of “cry[ing] sexism too often.” Even Norman Ornstein, a scholar at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, mocked Dowd’s column, tweeting, “Congratulations! This is the 7,673rd time Maureen Dowd has written this column! What a gig!”

Boring.

I'm a regular CNN watcher so I am familiar with Ms. McEnany and usually she stops at nothing to support Trump, has from the very beginning, and last night she kept saying "I wish the Trump campaign would stay on message, they need to get back on message, this is too much of a distraction." CNN wasn't giving her a hard time but they did ask her what was her position on the Kahn controversies.

And then they asked her about Trump's beef with fire marshall, and she looked like all the air was taken out of the balloon. She admitted Trump needs a better PR team.
What's that about?

At one of his rallies, where the room was packed to its legal capacity, he bitched about the fact that fire marshals would not allow more people in.

Then there was the room packed beyond the capacity of its air conditioners, where he bitched that he would not pay the hotel.

And the time he did not like the sound of the mike, so he bitched about the sound guy.

PS, I hope the sensitive soul who was upset that Zakaria said "bullshit" is not upset that I wrote "bitched".

So, Trump's ego "trumps" the safety of his supporters. He wants a larger crowd to show how people love him. They should be able to see their "god", nevermind that it's a fire hazard, people could get seriously hurt, and that he would be breaking the law. Classic Trump.

I bet these people would bitch and moan if their kids were packed into a gym over the legal limit.
