Teacher Appreciation week

Wait! Teachers get one whole week and mothers one whole day???
At home I do the job of a teacher, chef, psychologist, tennis coach, swim coach, lawyer, gardener, photographer, cleaner...
I don't have a monthly salary.

My school did not even acknowledge it (my first year there but a few years in teaching). I am fed up for so many reasons but not to even mention it feels awful

Our charter did something each day (flower/plant gift, lunch delivered, breakfast, potluck lunch, day of sweets/baked goods).

That is truly unfortunate. What school is this where the principal nor the PTA acknowledged this?

Last I checked there was no law that Mother's Day gifts can only be given only on one day. Talk to you spouse or kids if u feel unappreciated, don't take it out on teachers who are educating YOUR child.
