What's the story when a car dealer is selling a "used" 2016 car with 600 miles on it?

Which is funny because those two cars are built on the exact same platform.

We once bought a car, got home, and looking through the glove compartment realize that the car was a different year than what the dealer had told us. We returned it the next day.

But I do find myself wondering about the previous owner. The dealer says the previous owner (an individual, not a company) bought the car March 1st and that he traded it in around April 9th. I am just being nosy!

What kind of warranty did you get and what was the dealer invoice? There appears to have been an updated 2016.5 model released in January.

How do you know what the dealer invoice was?

This. I am guessing the person that bought it picked it up after a 10 minute test drive, and after the month discovered it was not comfortable for them (personally, Mazda seats cause incredible pain in my upper back; if it didn't, I would have bought the Mazda 6 instead of my Subie).
