| Will the AAP resource teacher email the GBRS? Cannot find time off work to go to school to look at the file. |
No, but you could ask her to send it home with your child in a sealed envelope, I'm sure. You don't look at it there. You just go and pick up your copy and leave. |
Thank you so much! |

Cogat- 139 Gbrs-10 Report card- mostly 4s Chances? |
Is this true? I am scheduled to go up there next week. I'm just going up to pick something up to read at home? Not to read there and talk? |
Not a slam dunk but possibly. |
| When I asked for my son's file last year it was waiting for me in the office. Didn't speak to anyone but the office staff. |
Depends on your school/AART. My kid was at a large school with a part-time AART. She didn't have time to meet with parents unless absolutely necessary. She made a copy of the file and left it for me in the office. She told me to call or email if I had any questions. |
| Very good chance of getting in and doing well. |
I disagree. This child will be admitted. No questions. |
Yes, this is true. You are requesting a copy of records for your child's file because it is your right to have it. It is not up for discussion, and definitely not prior to the decision. What would be there to discuss? What the AART thinks are the chances? That's not a conversation she wants to have as it would all be speculation. |
| About mid January I asked the question regarding appropriateness of asking child's GBRS from our AART teacher and was told to avoid asking as it may appear to be pushing. Here I see many know the score before eligibility results are in. I guess it is ok if I ask now for the GBRS? |
The files have all been sent now, so no real harm of appearing pushy. |
| Above what number is a good GBRS for an in pool child, with both scores above cut off? |
11 or more. |
