Kids Agent/Manager for Budding Child Actor? Advice?

No you are not, our child did school plays, was noticed by a friend of the teacher who is in the business and she has appeared in several national print and tv ads, and performed in ny on stage. there is a circuit out there of people who buy into the agent way much like parents who get consultants for college at age 10.

if your kid has it, they have it. putting your kids through crazy stuff is only setting them up to fail.
