Why no women in the weights room?

Haha - my husband does all the cooking so I'm fine with you touching his oven dials!

Damn you should see a doctor dude, if you really can't help it. Don't want people thinking you're a creepy, skeevy asshole if you have a legitimate medical condition that makes you unable to stop your staring.

You guys bought into that hook, line and sinker! You cant tell when you're being baited? really?
So what's wrong with you that you need to "bait " someone when we're trying to have a serious discussion about the weight room? Seriously, reflect on that.

I've been working out in gyms for about 40 years and back in the day it was always intimidating to start at a new gym and be one of the only women. Fortunately, that's changed at a lot of gyms.

OP, you have to just keep going for awhile. Like one pp suggested, work with a trainer. And remember, you paid your dues and you have just as much right to use that gym as anyone else. With enough time, you will feel right at home among the guys.

I think it's great that you're working out and lifting weights. Go for it!
