But in all seriousness. I'm 50. The goal is not to be a hot young thang anymore. I simply want to enjoy life. If that means toting around a few extra pounds so be it.

As I get older...as long as I'm reasonably active, able to get around and do what I want to do - indulge every now and then - I'm good.

You and I would get along well. I feel the same way.

I just turned 50, and comments like these make me not want to post in this subforum. I still want to be sexually attractive.

You probably are, to 60 year old men.

Actually, the last guy I dated was 33.

Did he live in his mom's basement?

Wait... so wash your hair every day or don't wash your hair every day to look younger?

Daily washing is bad for your hair. Ask any hairstylist.

why so desperate for attention?

not married?

I'm 49 - and the mom to two young kids. My main goal is to be healthy. I don't care to "turn heads" b/c quite frankly, I don't need that kind of "validation" in my life.

Just embrace aging and you'll probably feel better about yourself. And don't bother with Botox and surgery. We can all see through that, too.

As i get older I feel happier because I dont worry for what people think about me, I am more kind, more generous and more mindful, I know we all have some aches and pains but we cant turn time back, so lets make the best of it for the coming years, we all know eating clean, exercising, sleeping ,drinking water, being around positive people is better for us, free at last about insecurities, lets embrace where we are in life
