Areas/neighborhoods in the DC area with the least diversity?

Anonymous
I read and posted a little while ago about the Hawthorne neighborhood in the upper corner of Chevy Chase DC, adjacent to Rock Creek Park. I'd never heard of this neighborhood, but apparently it was home to many AA doctors, lawyers, and Howard professors. I'm assuming the racial composition has changed in the ensuing decades. Anyone know more about this history, and whether any of these AA residents remain?

Sure, I don't know if we necessarily would be treated differently--I would just honestly feel really conspicuous. I'm sure a white family living in an all AA neighborhood would feel the same way. I like to blend in a bit more than that demographic breakdown would allow--at least 5-10% AA would be more desirable for our family. And indeed, there are several other nice MoCo neighborhoods that meet that threshold.

Your wrong, it's about education and wealthy not race #GetAClue

Why is it when liberals segregate themselves into exclusively white neighborhoods you say it is about education or wealth?

And when middlenor lower class families choose neighborhoods that are mostly white (and more diverse than the segregated liberal neighborhoods) you say it is racism?

Oh sooooo true.
