So I have never heard of either of the two Indian women you mentioned and I google-imaged them. I would never have guessed they were Indian-their skin is basically white. I've never met any Indians-from-India with such pale skin. What's up with that?

Oh well gee I stand corrected, Ashburn obviously has all the Indians I'd ever need to see. For what it's worth I live in PG county and my Indian neighbor is as light as those ladies. I thought he was a white or maybe Hispanic guy before I heard his voice.

I'm half Indian, but didn't really grow up with Indian culture (born and raised here not around many Indians). My family did used to watch Indian movies growing up, though. Never understood why the actors were so light--nary a brown-skinned person in sight. Just sayin.'

Back to the topic, you have to look at Amal Clooney not through the lens of a Western standard. I've only seen a handful of pics of her but she looks beautiful and classy. And even more impressed with her resume--George is lucky. The pic OP posted was a bad one.
