Such simplistic thinking. I guess its better than no thinking at all. Or is it? |
You can't disprove a claim about what many Christians believe with a quote from the Bible. Come on. |
Yes Those born before Christ had pre-existing conditions. |
right For example, Catholicism preaches that pedophiles should be shuffled from parish to parish lest they be caught. |
Of course you can. The Bible is the sole source for Christian doctrine. Come on. |
That's funny. Or are you not joking? I'm describing what many Christians believe, not what the Bible *might* dictate. All Christians take the Bible as the word of God yet the denominations have differing views. And, as with all religious texts, large portions are rejected. |

Which bible is the source of all Christian doctrine?
The Vulgate/king James versions? The vulgar translations from Latin? A Latin version, and if so, which? One of the Greek language compilations? Pre or post council of Nicosea? Pre or post the reforms of Justinian? Pre or post the 11th century western catholic decision establishing the unmarried clergy to prevent dilution of church property by inheritance? <sigh> |
| Yes, of course they did. There's plenty of anthropological evidence of this. |
Nothing in catechism or the bible about that; it's just a very expeditious practice |
