I have been living in 1-bedrooms with my son since he was 9. He is 12 now.
He is at school or with friends and I'm at work, running errands, or somewhere outside near the condo as it has lovely grounds. I did separate the dining space for his computer, but we share the bedroom. Having two separate spaces is all we need in case we watch something, want a nap or are on the phone. I have even moved to cheaper 1-bedroom in my building instead of 2-bedroom. I'm into saving money for me and DS more than getting a bigger place. 2-bedrooms cost ca $2600 and we maybe ready to get one when DC starts high school. It was very important to go cheap at the beginning to see how my budget works out. I'm a very light mover and since we love this building, I move in the building. About to get my rent lowered $200 a month, because rents went down. I'm taking an advantage of that, before upgrading in 2 years. |

Op what’s the budget? Maybe you are paying $1900 in NW when you can move to Wheaton for a 2BR for the same price….
What’s the budget and utilities situation and maybe people who live in decent buildings can chime in about where you should look |
