Giada, I used to love her but...

So last night I read Giada was reported to have had several affairs. John Mayer refuses to deny it. Witnesses saw them together. He is apparently angry she is denying even being acquainted with him.

Giada defended saying her husband was with her, but her husband won't go on the record to provide that defense. In fact, it was he who filed for divorce.

Giada apparently slept with Bobbie Flay too. Bobbie has been linked to another woman also, though he was married at the time. Bobbie was having an affair with January Jones. Bobbie denied knowing her well. He said he met her once and she asked for his phone number so her kitchen designer could call him. That's all. But when January Jones got into a car accident one day, she called Bobbie. So why would a barely acquainted person call you when they are in a crisis situation? Bobbie seems to be a liar and so is Giada.
What bothers me is how sweet and demure she acts. She is a fraud. Her poor husband.

I always thought her husband seemed kind of not into the marriage on the show. That's how he came across to me.

Hmm. I have a love/hate relationship with her/her show. On one hand she seems a fraud - not anything special as a chef, and clearly got her start and more from her famous family. On the other hand, I find it somewhat addicting to watch her shows, especially the themed ones. I know nothing and care nothing about any affairs.

But Bobby Flay - really?? Isn't her married to the actress Stephanie March? Now that one disappoints me - he seems likeable and I love that actress.

I love cooking and loved Giada's shows.. But she is such a fraud. And what's with the ridiculous cleavage? Who dresses like that on a daytime cooking show? I guess if you're slutty, you do!

My fav chef on TV is Ina Garten now. Shes not the most benevolent chef but at least not slutty.

Did she? Well no surprise there. You should have seen Giada flirting with Matt Lauer on TV, a taped show. They were both on tubes by the shore of an ocean and Matt was taping. She intrudes into the scene and starts to splash him again and again until he can ignore it no longer. He retaliates by flipping her over from her tube into the ocean. Honestly, it was blatant and bizarre to watch. At the time they were both married.

Giada is Food Network's biggest slut. But watching her on her show, you'd never know it. She comes across as so family oriented, bubbly, and friendly.
