I find the dynamic between Don and Diana interesting. He really seems to care for her, and the compassion he had for her last night was unlike anything he ever showed for Betty.
And Megan -- give her money, and she's happy. At least she didn't agree to go upstairs with Harry (what a slimeball). I hope that's the last of her we see on this show. |
ugh thought for sure she was gonna sleep w/harry. i was saying out loud DON'T DO IT! glad they didn't go there. don def really did seem to show true compassion. |

I hope this is the last we see of Megan. I can't stand her. (I'm not usually a surface person, but I honestly think she is one of the most physically ugly people I've ever seen, and my skin crawls with loathing when she talks. Her horse teeth are horrific.)
Not surprising to see what a horrible shitstain of a person she turned out to be. I just hope that Don somehow doesn't let her have all that money. |
| What exactly did Don do to Megan to make her hate him so much? He did make her quit the soap opera and then change his mind about moving to CA but she went to CA anyway. She probably doesn't know about the affair with the neighbor. Why all the hate about "what he did to her"? What did he do? |
I was puzzled by this too. Also Megan's mother said Don ruined their family. WTF. All Don did was marry Megan and move her into a swanky NY apartment and support her dream of being an actress. She didnt have to struggle like other starving actresses. She'd still be a secretary if it wasnt for Don. It's not Don's fault that Megan wasnt a very good actress. This waitress storyline is making me glad the show is ending. Why chew up so much screen time on her. She can go away now. |
The mother thinks the family is ruined because they are French Catholics and traditionally, never divorce, so its about shame. Did you catch the part when Megan and her sister were discussing (fighting about ) annulment - that's pretty much the only way a Catholic church will recognize a divorce, if it has gone through the church channels in order to be annulled. |
| We're Don and Megan even married in the Catholic Church? |
I have no idea - it happened off screen between seasons, didn't it? |
+1...there's isjust something odd about the way she speaks! |
I thought she looked like and reminded him of the real don drawers wife? ( she was blonde though) He was became close to her but she died of cancer? |
I was wondering the same thing! Why is she so mad, she's the one who wanted the divorce. I was wondering if I missed something here. |
Oh well. His success will still have eclipsed the combined successes of everyone who has ever posted here times a million. |
I suspected this! Gross. I absolutely had trouble concentrating on the story lines every time Peggy's male co-worker, with all that hair and that big beard, were in scenes. It's so distracting. Way too much hair. |
I think it would make more sense to you if you think about Megan's parents' marriage and how trapped Megan and her family are within it. EVERYTHING any of them said about Megan and Don was really being said about Megan's parents. |
| Maybe I am too dumb for the show now. I don't get the waitress storyline. Maybe the writers are hoping if we end up hating everyone on the show we won't bug them to bring it back. But, I would love a spin off with Megan's mom. Loved her yelling at the movers and can imagine her living in New York. |
