Fairfax is higher rated than Loudoun. Loudoun has a huge home schooling population.

OP, you say that you are an ethnic minority and that you fear racism in the place that you live now. Have you experienced racism there? Or are you basing your fears on movies set in 1950s Mississippi? If so, can you give examples?

OP, this really is not a place to excel at sports. The places I always hear about are Florida, California and Texas, all with warmer climates than here. Have you considered those areas? Certainly California and Florida are diverse, including their private schools.
