Is 32 too old to graduate from grad school? Is it worth it?

My husband finished his umpteenth doctorate at 39 years old.
He gets bored after a few years in a certain field, and every time he switches, he has to get a few more degrees. The salary goes up a little, but obviously he doesn't do it for the money.

Who pays for it and how much have you racked up in loans over the years?

Yeah, this.

I didn't a masters until 34 though, so I'm biased.

If it is biology, it is not worth it. A overcrowded field.

Pharmacy shouldn't be too bad.

You have a definite goal/plan in mind, as opposed to some vague hope that an advance degree will make you more attractive to men, more wealthy, etc.

Dating might get a little harder but if you are kind and cute, you won't lack for quality men.

Not at all! I'm going to graduate this year (at age 35) with my undergrad! It's never too late.

My husband's dream is to switch careers and get his masters in his 40 or 50's. He currently works in the tech sector and has worked his way up the career ladder since he was 15. But he also has a dream of being a family and marriage therapist. We'll see if his second dream pans out.
