Speaking for myself and for some people I know, that is not the case. Certainly the stories of many religions could be called "meaningless dramas." Heh. I wasn't raised this way either, but once I realized the clearest, most happy and exciting way to live life was through reason and logic, I came to this conclusion. It's not sad at all. What's sad is my uncle who has never been in a relationship because he's gay and he thinks he'll go to hell if he acts on his feelings.
