I'm 10:15. Maybe I'm having images of Alleghenies, Civil War battlefields, or other outdoors-types of experiences. Maybe not, though!

Of course there are many wonderful experiences to be had there, I just don't think it's worthy of a short bucket list.

But that's just me.

Here's a cool and easy tool for visualizing where you've been or where you still want to go.

There is good skiing in central PA. There is awesome whitewater on the Lehiigh river near Jim thorp. There is a pretty interesting town, centralia, in central pa, it has been burning for 30 years. Every state park I've been to in Pa is gorgeous. And there is the Grand Canyon of PA.

Is nobody saying AZ because people have already been there, or because they just think of Phoenix and the Grand Canyon?

My list of states to visit that I haven't already would be:

PR (not a state, but really want to go)
WY
MI
FL (love me some Carl Hiaasen novels)
LA

MT
MI
OR
AZ

The Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood areas (along with the waterfalls like Multnomah Falls and the other less visited ones nearby) are really, really gorgeous and close to Portland. Just in case you make it there!

Crater Lake
Oregon Coast
Voyageurs Natl Park
Badlands Natl Park

?

I guess PP doesn't care about the great outdoors.

LOL, we were only there a few days and felt like we "saw" enough of Portland. It's a cool city, for sure, but I got a little tired of the homeless hipster types everywhere!

If you haven't been to the Empire State (New York), go there! It is gorgeous. So many people think of NY as just NYC... that is so false. It's a huge state and there are so many beautiful sites. The Adirondacks, the Finger Lakes region, Ithaca (gorges), Long Island's North Shore, Hudson Valley region (West Point)... it's worth a trip.

This is very true. NY is very diverse and incredible. Also 1000 islands, which I still have not made it to even though I lived pretty close for a while.

I want to visit every state at least once. I think I've been to 23.

Next on my list are Alaska, Oregon, Colorado, Montana, and Nevada.

I feel this way, too. But I won't be that sad if I die without seeing MS, MO, and KS.

Been to quite a few, this list doesn't include the many states I'd like to return to!
