What to cook for Christmas dinner?

Prime Rib, lobster, lasagna, meatballs, garlic bread, antipasto salad, regular salad, cream cheese potatoes, and one other veggie. We incorporate lots of different traditions, plus we have a lot of people.

I'm making leg of lamb with gravy, roasted potatoes and carrots, green beans. I'd throw in a ham, rolls, and a jello salad, if I had to cook for a lot of people. Tartuffi and Christmas cookies for dessert.

Some sort of egg strata, sausage or bacon, fruit, a sweet bread like brioche laced with orange with sliced almonds on top drizzled with powdered sugar icing. Or a smorgasbord with little rye breads with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, cucumber, radishes, salami or ham, cheeses, olives. Or maybe a hearty soup like bean and bacon, corn potato chowder, broccoli and cheese, or beef with barley, with crusty sour dough bread.

My husband makes a wonderful duck every Christmas. Just decadent enough to make it special!
