U10 Youth Soccer - Stoppage Time?

I'm one of the people who has been arguing to just let it go, and ironically, my team was victimized by an early whistle today. We were down 6-2 to a really good team -- not a bad effort by my guys, who were missing their top defender -- and the ref blew it dead just as our guy collected the ball at midfield with a step on the defender.

Ironic, but hey -- it's not a big deal. Just laughed about it. And maybe it made up for the fact that we were offside on our first goal.

Get over it. My son's u9 travel team was tied with another team when my son kicked a beautiful corner to an open player. As his team mate kicked the ball the ref blew the whistle signaling the end of the game as the ball was in the air. The ball went in the net but no goal was called. I was filming on an iPad so I looked at the video in slow motion. As soon as my son kicked the corner the ref looked down at his watch and blew the whistle. He never looked at where the ball landed which in this case was an open player. You win some calls, lose some others, oh well.
