Did you watch the Wallking Dead Tonight includes SPOILERS

Just to confirm: the people who have Beth are different from the Terminus people - yes or no? For some reason last night the way the scenes were cut I thought the Terminus people were driving the car that Daryl and Carol were chasing. But this morning I think I just misinterpreted.

I think Bob was bitten and that's why he was crying.

I think the preacher definitely had a thing with the glasses girl. But aren't Episcopalian preachers allowed to be married? So why would it matter, unless she was married to someone else? Or maybe it was unrequited love?

Also, I'm no theologian, but I thought only the Catholic Church believed in transubstantiation. So it was weird that he made the comment about the wine only turning to the blood of Christ during the service. So, did the writers make an error? At first I thought he wasn't really a priest but I guess the photo of him with glasses girl proves he was.

Episcopalian priests can marry. i bet that was his wife in the picture.

I think Beth is with different people than Terminus. Previews had her in what looked like a hospital.

i am confused as to why Bob was crying. and I am suspicious as to whether Bob knew Garret before.

However I don't think he was bitten I thought he was crying because they were all drinking wine and he's an alcoholic. The ending was so intense. Did you notice the one guy we thought that Tyrese killed was around the campfire having a bite of Bob?

I cannot figure out the priest out. Why were his clothes so clean? He obviously did not provide sanctuary to other people, and that may be part of his guilt but I think there is something more.

I did notice that guy eating Bob, the one who threatened Judith. And his face was all fine. Why wasn't his face still bloody (Daryl still is walking around with a black eye).

Hmmm...his wife...that would be interesting! I was thinking Gabriel's story was a little boring - yeah, bad that he's a priest but locked his congregation out of the church to save himself, blah, blah, nothing that drastic from self-preservation efforts we've seen before. But if he locked out even his wife, he's really self-centered (not the exact right word but closest I can get).

I thought that one of the walkers in the church's waterlogged cellar was Glasses Girl. That's why Gabriel lost it down there & Rick had to come to the rescue.
Agreed about transubstantiation and the Catholic v. Episcopal thing...camera emphasis was placed on the church sign. Also, was Gabriel transcribing the Bible from memory? All that writing & all the drawn pictures that Carol looked over must be significant.

Yes, plus the pictures of the burning bush. I googled to refresh my memory of the reference and evidently the burning bush is how God revealed to Moses that he would lead his people out of Egypt. I could see Rick as the Moses character. Maybe Gabriel is the failed Moses who didn't lead his people? Not sure...Also, Gabriel/Angel Gabriel? I'm pretty weak on Biblical references.

The recopying of the Bible passages reminded me of Jack Nicholson's character at the end of The Shining.

All I can say about last night is OMG. Could not sleep because of the leg thing.

Not an error. The wine isn't the Precious Blood until it is transformed by the Catholic priest during the service, but he's an Episcopal priest.

So if it wasn't writer error then Gabriel probably isn't a real Episcopal priest. If he was a legit Episcopal priest he wouldn't have said that, right?

Wouldn't Bob be in significant pain from his amputation? Also, he was't bleeding. And I agree with the poster above and noticed that the Cannibal Gang guy wasn't even bruised from his fight. Just some minor discrepancies...

Bob's leg wasn't bleeding because they bandaged it. He was probably deep in shock -- the pain hadn't hit yet.
Also: the guy Tyreese beat up was definitely swollen. He might not have been super bloody, but he looked beaten up to me.

OK, so...if Bob was crying outside, was it because:

A. He had betrayed the group somehow? Is that what the mark on the tree was about? Had he been marking trees to lead the Termites to the group?

Or, B: he had been bitten at some point, and was going to wander off to die alone? I know in the original comics, that Dale had been the one to be captured by the cannibals and have his leg amputated...and he had been bitten, and they ate his infected leg and turned.

Also, I think the dark secret with the priest is that he refused entry to people who needed help, and hoarded the canned food for himself. Not sure how people with knives and such couldn't get in there...the only defense seemed to be closed window shutters, but whatever.

That is what I was thinking. Could have been only one person he locked out. (Back to reality though, I don’t think a small church in rural Atlanta would have a mixed race congregation so not sure how the glass-wearing, white, female organ player fits in.)

Ya’ll don’t think the pictures of the burning bush were done by the kids in bible school? I hadn't thought they were done by him. Maybe he locked the bible school kids outside….

I agree, I think Bob was crying because he was scratched or bitten. Good for him for taking out the Terminus group.

The guy who threatened Judith is dead. He wasn't with the group chowing down on Bob's leg (poor Bob btw).

The Reverend has something going on, I'm not sure he necessarily locked everyone out, since they were at the food pantry, probably prepping for his donation? I don't see him as the killing type, unless he was part of Terminus but ran away after what they became? It'll be interesting to see either way.

People who took Beth are not Terminus. One preview had her in a psych ward. It's about time we got a crazy group of people testing the virus on humans... I'm also wondering what the DC group's plan was going to be if they couldn't convince Rick and the group to come with - attack them?
