| I would not notice. |

My in laws have been married for nearly 48 years and my FIL has never, ever worn a wedding band. They exchanged rings at their wedding, but then his went straight into a box.
My MIL is slavishly devoted to a semi annual upgrade of the the engagement ring she never got. She alternates between a full carat cubic zirconia and a half carat diamond he gave her as a gift. She's never without her rings. My husband takes his off for lots of things - lawn mowing, ocean swimming, basketball and, he jokes, business trips. I noticed a few days ago that he left his band on his dresser and he just forgot to put it on for a few days. I don't care, although I do look for wedding bands on guys...on tv, in person, etc. |
| If it's a man, I think he's looking for some side action. A woman, I figure she left them at home, like I always do. Double-standard, I know. |
| I am a woman. I would not notice because I do not like to wear rings. I find rings uncomfortable. |
| I wash my hands quite often, so rings are a pain. |

I probably wouldn't even notice.
I am married and do not wear one. I lost a lot of weight several years ago, so I couldn't wear mine, and then I ended up losing it (Luckily it was just a simple gold band, not very expensive)
We just haven't had the money/time to buy a replacement yet. Even when we do, I might not wear it all the time--I am very active and my fingers swell, so I would need to take it off frequently for that. |
Seriously? BIG LOL |
